About Us
Hailing from an industrial background, Chairman of Livewell Capsules Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Raees Iftakhar took over the family’s animal glue factory in 1992. The factory was converting raw hide cuttings from the tannery into glue for industrial use. Seeing an opportunity to make a value-added product, he made a plan to manufacture edible gelatine from the same raw material and started its production in 1999.

Livewell Capsules Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 2017 for the purpose of establishing a Greenfield industrial unit for the manufacturing of empty hard capsules from gelatine plant utilising fully automatic machines and European HVAC system. The unit was designed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines from the start to be compliant with Pakistani and developed countries’ pharmaceutical regulations. The erection & commissioning of the plant was ready in September, 2021 and a Drug Manufacturing License (DML) issued by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) in December, 2021.
Livewell Capsules has started production with capsule sizes 0, 2 and 3 and plans to add sizes 00, 0el, 1 and 4 in the near future.
Livewell Capsules holds Halal, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications.
